welcome back to the monthly installment of the kitchen table newsletter!!
wow, that was a long January. even though february is one of my least favorite months, I am so ready to move forward with this year. it almost feels like an early spring day here in NYC today and I am craving warmth!
on the positive side, february is a short month and it is full of pink! well, at least for half of the month. and even though I wanted a Bills-Lions super bowl this year, I am still excited for the game as well. I plan on sending out a post full of good gameday recipes very soon!!

life updates:

honestly, january was a bit of a dud. I mostly spent time at home, and then I caught a cold which had me on the couch for a week. we did look at quite a few apartments as well as wedding venues. in march we’ll be moving over to brooklyn! and I think we have decided on a wedding venue as well.
what I’m cooking:

two new recipes coming to substack very soon: cinnamon roll focaccia bread and lamb meatball farro bowl. I recently shared my crispy salmon rice bowl as well!
I think you’ll really enjoy these, but especially the cinnamon roll focaccia. It doesn’t use sourdough and it is made all in one day (no overnight proofing)! plus, its delish.
more recipes coming this month: I’m working on an ahi tuna recipe as well as an espresso martini using instant espresso. If I work quickly enough, I’m also going to share a pink radicchio salad, perfect for galentines day!!
